Program alumna, heart-failure nurse, and author (Shadow Migration: Mapping a Life, Nebraska Press, 2022) Suzanne Ohlmann will help explore this question via lecture, interactive discussion, prompts, and timed writings. We will also learn how to check our radial and carotid pulse, how to stimulate the vagus nerve, and to use those basic skills to center ourselves in writing practice.
